Welcome to the NWX Architectural Review Committee
The NorthWest Crossing Architectural Review Committee (NWX ARC) is responsible for upholding the design standards that help preserve the character, quality, and overall vision of our neighborhood.
While we are not a homeowners' association (HOA), we are committed to supporting thoughtful design, promoting neighborhood safety, and maintaining the integrity of our community’s aesthetic.
All exterior changes, including landscaping updates, tree removals, paint changes, additions, and new construction, require prior ARC approval. We appreciate homeowners' efforts to follow the design guidelines and help keep NorthWest Crossing a beautiful, vibrant place to live.
What’s New?
Fire-Safe Landscape Updates Now Allowed Without Full ARC Review
In response to the City of Bend’s new flammable vegetation guidelines, the NWX Architectural Review Committee is allowing limited landscape updates within 10 feet of your home to move forward without full ARC approval.
If you’re removing or replacing vegetation to comply with the city’s fire safety code—such as junipers or other flammable plants near your home—you may now proceed by simply submitting the form below.
Please note:
Changes beyond the 10-foot zone or full landscape overhauls still require standard ARC review and approval.
This update is designed to support proactive fire safety while maintaining the overall character of the neighborhood.
Have questions? Feel free to reach out—we’re happy to help.
