Just minutes from NorthWest Crossing, are the outdoor amphitheater and movie theater in the Old Mill District, downtown Bend, Drake Park and the Tower Theatre, which are all venues for music concerts, festivals and other year-round art and cultural events. We have art galleries to stroll through; shops to wander through; museums to marvel at, such as the High Desert Museum; golf courses to play; campgrounds to escape to; trails to hike or bike; rivers to fish or raft; and a mountain loaded with fresh snow to carve your own tracks. We also have a state-of-the-art medical center and information centers that can fill you in on all the details.

Bend is also home to Central Oregon Community College and the new Oregon State University -Cascades Campus, where residents can readily enjoy their libraries, lectures series and a variety of educational programs and events.
