NorthWest Crossing Update, February 2009

An update on news and events at NorthWest Crossing.

OUR SCHOOLS ROCK! HIGH LAKES SCORES HIGH

NorthWest Crossing is the happy home for two of the state's top schools: Summit High School and High Lakes Elementary. You may not know that High Lakes has been recognized for its student achievement and performance. The Oregon Department of Education has rated the school as "Exceptional" the past 4 out of 5 years. Could this be in part to great parental involvement? Maybe - the school has one of the largest PTAs in the state. Some of our High Lakes students will be heading to the new William E. Miller Elementary school next year, which will help to reduce class sizes for the 2009-2010 school year. To find out more, visit the Bend-Lapine Schools website.

OPEN FOR BUSINESS...AGAIN

Healthy Paws and portello winecafé in the NWX Neighborhood Center are now open again! The building that houses the businesses experienced water damage from a broken pipe during December's extremely cold weather. All the damages have been repaired and businesses are ready to welcome you. portello is now hosting live music on Saturday nights from 6-8 p.m. Healthy Paws is once again making pets healthier in Central Oregon.

REDUCTIONS ON OUR HOMESITES...GREAT SAVINGS FOR YOU!

Not only are NorthWest Crossing homesites now available for sale to the public, but prices have been recently reduced to make building your dream home even more affordable.
