WALK TO SCHOOL NEXT WEEK FOR HIGH LAKES STUDENTS

High Lakes Elementary students: it's your turn to have a positive impact on the environment! NorthWest Crossing has teamed up with Commute Options of Central Oregon to create "Walk to School Week." Each morning from May 19-23, students and volunteer parents and other adults will meet at the roundabout at Shevlin Park Road and NW Crossing Drive for a "walking school bus" ride. Children can board the "bus" at stops close to their homes. Along the way, children will learn pedestrian safety and explore the neighborhood around the school.
