NorthWest Crossing and Craftsman Homes Develop Compass Park Townhomes
NorthWest Crossing, Bend's largest mixed-use community, today announced that Craftsman Homes will be developing a townhome project called "Compass Park Townhomes." Eight buildings will house a total of 22 townhomes, located on NW Crossing Drive facing the west side of the community's distinctive, circular Compass Park.
"This project gave us a unique opportunity to put our fingerprint on a very critical part of the NorthWest Crossing neighborhood," said Rod Tomcho, design manager for Craftsman Homes. "The smaller-scale scope of the project, with only a limited number of units, creates an intimacy that allowed us to showcase a truly high-quality product."
The townhomes were designed by Michigan architect Dominick Tringali, whose firm is known for its upper-end classic designs. Six of the buildings were designed in the Craftsman style, with the remaining two in a unique Colonial design. Both exterior designs include extensive brick and stonework, and each unit features a luxury finish package with upgraded cabinets, appliances and high-end details.
Although Craftsman Homes has completed more than 80 homes in NorthWest Crossing, this will be their first townhome project within the community. The company plans to break ground this month with initial foundations complete by November. For sales information, call the NorthWest Crossing Sales Center at 541.388.1992.
