Sage Cafe Now Open in NorthWest Crossing

NorthWest Crossing announces that its first neighborhood business, Sage Café, is now open in the NorthWest Crossing Information Center building, at the corner of Mt. Washington Drive and NorthWest Crossing Drive.

"Sage Café represents a big step in the development of NorthWest Crossing," said David Ford, Project Manager of NorthWest Crossing. "As the first business to join the community, Sage Café is just the first of many shops and service-oriented businesses that will make this mixed-use community convenient for residents and area neighbors alike."

The café serves pastries, granola and seasonal fruits in the morning, and panini sandwiches, cold pasta salads, antipastos, homemade soups, and occasionally fondues at lunch and in the afternoon. Drink offerings include coffee and tea drinks, blended ice coffee and fruit tea smoothies, and hot and cold chai.

Sage Café's hours are 6 am – 4:30 pm Monday through Friday, 7 am – 3 pm on Saturday and 8 am – 2 pm on Sunday. The early hours will no doubt be appreciated by the many students and staffs of the two schools situated in NorthWest Crossing.

"I am excited about being a part of the NorthWest Crossing community," said Chris McCluskey, Safe Café owner. "The goal is to create a cozy atmosphere that makes the café a favorite stopping-off point for residents and those driving along Mt. Washington Dive."

Sage Café is open one evening a month, giving local book clubs the opportunity to host private gatherings. Book club members may call and reserve a night at the café by calling 382-6740.
