Sage Café Offers Wireless Internet Access to Customers
Sage Café, the first business to open in the Northwest Crossing mixed-use community, announces wireless Internet access for its customers. The café, which is housed in the NorthWest Crossing Information Center at the corner of Mt. Washington Drive and NorthWest Crossing Drive, offers this service free to its customers.
"We implemented the wireless Internet access when we first opened in February of this year," said Chris McCluskey, Safe Café owner. "To us, offering this additional service to our customers is just good business. We want people to have a cozy, relaxing place to work or play using the Web."
To use the service, laptop users will need a card installed that communicates with the wireless network. The card itself can be easily obtained from any computer hardware store. After the user logs on to the Sage Café provider, they can browse the Web freely.
The café serves pastries, granola and seasonal fruits in the morning, and panini sandwiches, cold pasta salads, antipastos, homemade soups, and occasionally fondues at lunch and in the afternoon. Drink offerings include coffee and tea drinks, blended ice coffee and fruit tea smoothies, and hot and cold chai.
Sage Café's hours are 6 am – 4:30 pm Monday through Friday, 7 am – 3 pm on Saturday and 8 am – 2 pm on Sunday. The early hours will no doubt be appreciated by the many students and staffs of Summit High School and High Lakes Elementary, the two schools situated in NorthWest Crossing.
