NorthWest Crossing Hires Real Estate Broker Mageau

NorthWest Crossing today announced that Phyllis Mageau has joined its realty team as Real Estate Broker.

In her new position, Mageau will work with the realty team in selling new homes within the neighborhood. She will also be actively involved in building rapport not only with buyers and sellers, but with other entities within the NorthWest Crossing neighborhood, such as the builder team.

"Phyllis brings several years of experience in selling real estate and managing real estate offices to NorthWest Crossing," said David Quiros, principal broker for NorthWest Crossing Realty. "Much of this experience has been with resort developers in selling their projects in the Hawaiian Islands, as well as the Lake Tahoe area. Phyllis is professional and proficient and is a great addition to our team."

Mageau has 19 years of real estate experience, with the last several years spent in a management position for a large resort real estate company in Maui, Hawaii. Prior to that, she served in a sales representative capacity in the resort industry, as well as several years as a loan officer. She brings extensive experience in processing real estate documents, corporate sales and management to her new position. She is looking forward to working in sales, and learning about the unique construction program with the NorthWest Crossing neighborhood builder team.

Currently, Mageau is the chairperson for both the State and Central Oregon Women's Council of Realtors and is a candidate for becoming a Certified Real Estate Brokerage Manager (CRB). In the past, she has received several top awards from The American Resort Development Association (ARDA), including ARDA Silver Medalist and ARDA Overall Awesome Award. She is a graduate of Lumbleau School for California Real Estate and attended Monterey Peninsula College with high honors.

Prior to moving to Bend three years ago, Mageau and her husband Timo have spent the last 20 plus years in Maui. They, along with 9-year-old son Jake, are outdoor enthusiasts who love to bike, hike, ski, fish and boat. Mageau also holds a black belt in Tae Kwon Do.
