David Quiros, Principal Broker
David Quiros, NorthWest Crossing Realty's Principal Broker has
been a resident of Bend for more than 23 years. His wife,
Janis is a high school spanish teacher in Sisters and his son,
Dylan is studying Business at Oregon State University.
David has a diverse career background.
After graduating from the University of California, Davis, he
started his career in restaurant operations and was
also active in restaurant design and remodeling.
When David moved to Central Oregon he became involved in hotel
and resort management and was in senior management positions at
Sunriver Lodge, The Inn of the Seventh Mountain and Broken
Top Club. He left Oregon briefly
to manage two beach front resorts in Aruba and in the Southern
Caribbean.
When David returned to Oregon in 1992 he became involved in the
development, construction management, and real estate sales for
a fractional interest "mini-resort" within Sunriver. He
then started a real estate development company that focused on
buying, remodeling and reselling mill houses on Bend's
Westside. This led him to a position working for a large
builder in Bend, and with this company he built more than
thirty homes in NorthWest Crossing, and forty other homes in
both Bend and Redmond.
David brings a unique "builders perspective" to his position at
NorthWest Crossing Realty, and is excited to participate in the
continuing growth and refinement of this wonderful
community.
Marcy Merlot, Broker
 Marcy Merlot is a native Oregonian and
has lived in Central Oregon for over 20 years with her two
children who are now grown and on their own. During that
time Marcy developed a love for Central Oregon and the
direction it has gone with growth and development.
Marcy's first career was spent in the hospitality industry in
various management positions culminating with several years as
the Food and Beverage Director at Broken Top Club on Bend's
west side. This experience has given Marcy a solid
understanding of the fine points of customer service. The
past 5 years have been spent as an owner of Merlot Mortgage
doing residential lending with her husband, Jeff. Owning
and working in the residential lending business has given her a
perspective of the real estate market many Realtors don't
have. Marcy is committed to giving her real estate
clients a selling or buying experience that is personalized and
based on understanding their goals and needs and meeting those
needs in a fun and positive manner. Through her mortgage
lending experience she has also developed a belief that good
communication is critical for her clients and for her
success. Marcy brings this same commitment to positive
communication to her real estate clients.
Rebecca Thomas, Marketing
Manager/Broker
 Rebecca Thomas has been a resident of
the Bend area for about 3 years. Rebecca brings more than
five years experience to her position at NorthWest Crossing
Realty. She became proficient in real estate marketing and
administration with a large real estate company in Southern
California.
After moving to Central Oregon she was the marketing and personal assistant to a
successful agent before joining NorthWest Crossing Realty.
Rebecca's positive and professional attitude is a great asset
to NorthWest Crossing. Rebecca has become licensed as an
Associate Broker, which will bring new depth to the sales force
at NorthWest Crossing Realty.
